Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is the child of a Russian Indian mother as well as a Hindu Afghan father. She can speak fluent German Russian English, French Persian and Hindi. Her parents are Russian as well as Indian. When she was 11, Annet Mahendru choreographed and performed a dance which earned her a German television appearance. Her performance included a snow maiden from Russia who transformed into a fun Indian dancer. She finished high school in New York and received a bachelor of Arts in English at St. John's University. After school she took acting classes at the HB Studio, but she moved on to study improvisation at the Groundlings School taking on several comedy projects thereafter. She was created at the age of 13 in Kabul Afghanistan, to Hindu-Indian Ghanshan Kenne Mahendru (father) and Russian Olga (mother). In her teens when her parents split up, she moved from Kabul, Afghanistan to East Meadow New York. Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys star in FX's The Americans. TV actress known for playing the former KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova, on FX's The Americans. Her role was a regular one in Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
